SATURDAY STORY|| LIVING THE GRATITUDE STORY

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're you're all having a great day and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day! Thank you for checking out my blog.

Today, I want to share a very inspiring story I received via email yesterday with you. I hope you enjoy it and remember to be grateful no matter what the situation. The following story I am about to share, is from Proctor Gallagher Institute.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which read, “I am blind, please help.”

There were only a few coins in the hat – spare change from folks as they hurried past.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

Then he put the sign back in the boy’s hand so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.

That afternoon, the man who had changed the sign returned to see how things were.

The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?”

The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” I wrote, “Today is a beautiful day, but I cannot see it.”

Both signs spoke the truth. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind, while the second sign conveyed to everyone walking by how grateful they should be to see…

When your life seems full of troubles, it seems difficult to maintain an attitude of gratitude, doesn’t it? All we see are our problems, like a blackened storm cloud casting a dark shadow over our lives.

And the times when everything just seems to be going smoothly? We often take these precious moments for granted too, don’t we? Caught up in the bliss, comfort, and familiarity of it all, we can simply forget to be thankful.

So what, then, is gratitude?

Simply put, gratitude is a habit. It’s a way of looking at the world and all the good things in it with a feeling of appreciation, regardless of whether or not your current situation is to your liking.

Gratitude is a heart-centered approach to being at peace with yourself and with all you have. When you practice this feeling of gratitude, it attracts even MORE things into your life for which to be grateful.

Go ahead, try it out right now. What or who do you have in your life to be thankful for?

STAYING GRATEFUL IN SPITE OF THE CURRENT SEASON

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're having an amazing day and are not letting anyone or thing steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you all for joining me.

When I look at my life, it's easy to find many things to be upset about. People to be angry at and situations to be resentful for but I choose not to. The reason is that every hurtful thought produces a hurtful feeling and every hurtful feeling sets a series of hurtful events and I would rather not have that.

The trick of the enemy is to get us focused on the things that didn't go right and you and I know that when you're thinking about negative things, you tend to act negative. The enemy is a trickster. He is relentless but you have to be more relentless by becoming aware of your feeling every moment. A great teacher once said, you can't think be happy and sad at the same time. This is so true. One of the fastest way to see what vibration you're in, is to ask yourself how you are feeling. If you're feeling bad, it's usually because you're thinking negative thoughts.

To switch your vibration from negativity to positivity, you have to be grateful. It's as easy as listing the things you are grateful for. What is that one thing you're thankful for this moment, think on it. This simple exercise, will shift your vibes from negative to positive. Please try it.

I have decided that I am going to be grateful no matter what. If I have any chance of experiencing a better season in my life, I have to focus my attention on the good. I've got to be thankful to God for His goodness and only then, will I see more good in my life.

No matter the situation, no matter the pain, no matter the struggle, give praise to God. Praise will get you out!

I hope you have an amazing new Month of October.

With gratitude,

Maryam

LETTER TO ALL BLOGGERS AND VLOGGERS WHO MADE VARIOUS POSTS ABOUT ME

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you are all having an amazing day and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for reading my blog.

This post is dedicated to those who made positive posts about me and my recent situation. I appreciate you all. God is truly good to me, in many ways than I can even begin to speak about. When it was convenient to speak evil about me and make up lies, you all chose to defend me. For that, I am very grateful. I want you all to know that every good thing you put out there in the Universe, always comes back multiplied to it's source. You will reap good from this!

Your good words and deeds are seeds that you plant. Just like every natural seed produces a harvest, always more than the seeds planted by the farmers, you will receive the reward of the seeds of kindness you sowed towards me. I am praying specially for everyone of you today. May my God bless you! May He shine His light of favor on you and all who matter to you. May your lives never be short of things to celebrate in Jesus Name.

I have been on a spiritual journey of awakening and it's truly amazing. The things that I have learned are truly amazing. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is "No Good deed goes Unrewarded and there's immense power in Positivity. Always stay positive in your thoughts and actions, regardless of what your situation maybe.

Here's a video I made for you:

I apologize for not mentioning your names, but you all know yourselves.

May God bless and show you favor all the days of your live in Jesus Name. Amen!

With gratitude,

Maryam

I HAVE GAINED WEIGHT AND I FEEL GREAT!!

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope y'all are having a blast and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life! Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for joining me.

I have been through the fire and out. I didn't just come out, I came out dripping chocolate lol...
I glorify my Heavenly Father for always caring for me and guiding me. God is faithful and I bestow all glory and honor to Him alone.

My kids and I are enjoying life more than ever because God is faithful!

I was trying to gain weight for a while. I had lost a lot of weight because I had stopped eating in the middle of the storm. To eat was hard work for me. Prayer, meditation and affirmations were my food. I was in a place of complete focus on God and His saving power, food was not an option for me. I knew and know that Only God can transform a difficult situation. Well, not only did God transform mine, He restored my joy and enjoyment of food.

I have gained weight now and I really love looking at my round full face in the mirror. I look into my eyes and smile to myself. I love what I see.

Has God ever brought you out of a very difficult season? Or are you currently going through a difficult season? Trust in God. Don't rely on anyone or thing. Let God be your absolute focus and be grateful for God's goodness and you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

Thank you all for being amazing. May God bless you immensely in Jesus Name. Amen!

See you later,
Maryam
