In today's blog, I want to share a secret that has been hidden from us. I have talked about this many times before but it seemed as though not many people got the message and quite frankly, I love talking, studying and reading about this secret. Mind is creative! You are the sum total of the thoughts you think all day long. Your belief is a thought you think over and over again. Your life is an expression of your belief.
For most of my life, I was manipulated into believing that you have to work hard for God's favor. You have to slave and allow yourself be everybody's door mat in order to gain God's favor. Serving God, was not sweet or appealing while living under those beliefs. It made serving God a chore and life was a constant struggle endured for the purpose of going to Heaven. Yet, even in this ignorant state, I observed the people who preached such messages of doom, enjoy the good things in life, while encouraging others to accept the doom because "that is the sacrifice children of God have to make in order to make Heaven."
These same preachers, I would watch them celebrate the rich people who would make large donations to their churches and that was so contradictory to their doctrine. How can you celebrate the rich and their gifts on one hand and on the other hand, encourage the majority of the congregation to accept poverty and lack for the sake of making Heaven. Y'all, I don't know about you but I started thinking and reading my Bible more. The more I have read the Bible, the more perplexed I am. There's no place in the Bible where poverty is the portion of the children of God. The Bible clearly states in Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
What does "all" mean? All means all! It means health, wealth, love, and perfect self-expression. We live in a thought world. The world is full of manipulators and control freaks. You find them in spiritual organizations and pulpits and also in the market places. Know thyself! Everyone is trying to control you by making you afraid. Let me tell you why they have succeeded up until now, because you allowed them access to your mind. They come up with their negative images and stared up an emotion in you, the emotion puts your body in a certain vibration and then you start attracting the bad things that they presented to you. See, your energy flows where your attention goes. Start focusing on the joy you want and you will start experiencing it. Start focusing on the riches you want and you will receive it. Take back control over your life and let the devil's agents burn in their own hell.
God has already given you ALL things! Let's make a decision today to claim it with our mental pictures as well as our actions.
