MY NEW FAVORITE JEWELRY PIECES|| ANA LUISA JEWELRY

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're all having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day! Thank you all for joining me today.

It is the last day of the month of August. I glorify God for His grace that preserved us through out the month. As we embark on the journey through September, I am super excited and hopeful for the wonderful things that are in store for me and my children. I pray that this next month brings you amazing blessings and miracles each and everyday.

So, I wanted to share my new favorite pieces of jewelries with you all today. With these pieces, you don't break the bank for them. Have you ever wanted a piece of jewelry that is made from high quality metal and with you mind? Something that speaks to your heart as well as agrees with your budget? I got you covered.

Ana Luisa jewelries are amazing. They are made from great quality metal that don't wear out with time. Their pieces are gorgeous and meaningful. They speak to the very core of your being. At least they do to me. Lol...

I chose two amazing pieces which I believe were made for me. The necklaces you see me wearing in the picture above are personal to me. The heart necklace is called "The Lev," my son's name is Le'Veon. This necklace reminds me of the love I have for him and the feeling I feel when I think about his birth. Le'Veon represents answered prayer to me. He brought the light back into my life after years of darkness.
The second piece I chose is called the "mama Necklace," I love this one because two Angels call me mama. It reminds me of my most cherished role of being a mama. Zo'e, my sweet baby girl seen in the picture above, is especially attached to me. She is my overflow to my Le'Veon. I love my babies so much. When I touch my "mama necklace," I feel the connection to my Angel babies. They bring a lot of warmth, love, excitement and joy to my world.

I also chose a pair of star-like hoop earrings. These earrings remind me of the Cross. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross to bring me salvation. Oh how amazing that is. Life is full of symbolism and the best symbols are those that bring positive vibrations and warmth to us. These pieces really speak to me on a deep level and I am glad that I could share them with you.

Are you looking for great pieces that will speak to your heart? Are you a mom? You may want to check out the "mama necklace." I am especially drawn to Ana Luisa Jewelries because they start at an affordable $39 . Here's a code to get 10% off your order from me: MaryamS10

HOW MINT AND GINGER ROOT TEA CURES HEADACHES AND REDUCE STRESS|| NATURAL REMEDY

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you are all having a great day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you all for joining me.
I love tea! Especially natural teas. I don't like caffeine though. Caffeine gives me a headache. I don't like that.

A few days ago, I did a live video on my channel. I have linked the video to this post. I shared my favorite tea recipe and promised myself to make a blog post about it. I love peppermint and ginger. I make mint and ginger tea a lot. I make them separately and combined. I have a jar of dried peppermint leaves I bought a while back from Amazon; here's the link to get it  https://amzn.to/2QxDuzp

From drinking these teas separately, I have discovered some personal benefits from them. I notice that whenever I have a headache, peppermint tea cures it after a few sips. Peppermint also refreshes my body after a very stressful day. Here's how I make it:

I get a couple of tablespoons of dried peppermint leaves and pour it into my teapot containing two cups of water. I boil and turn off the stove. I let it brew on the warm stove top for about 5-7 minutes before serving. I get a filter and filter the leaves out into a cup. Add a teaspoon of honey and it is ready for my enjoyment.

Ginger roots are great for your digestive system. I love ginger tea. I have found that it cleanses my system and using the restroom is easy and it cures gas too. It's awesome!

I love the spicy taste and combined with a little bit of honey, oh my! It's heavenly!

This is how I make my Ginger root tea: I get a couple of medium size heads and pound in my mini pestle mortar. You can blend it, if you don't have a pestle mortar. I then put it into my tea pot containing a pot of water. Then I boil. I then turn off the stove and let sit for about 5 minutes and then I filter the bark from the tea into my favorite tea cup. I add a tablespoon of honey and stir. Then I take a sip and enjoy!

This the honey I have been using. Mountain ridge 100% Natural honey. I got it from Walmart.

This is my teapot. It's a beautiful kettle by Portobelo which I bought from Ross Stores.

Here's my glorious cup of tea. Truly a glorious experience whenever I make this tea.

I make a combined Ginger and Peppermint tea. Follow the steps already shared but add both ingredients to the pot of water and boil. It's truly refreshing.

I hope you have enjoyed this post. It gives me so much joy to be able to share things that I love with you.

I hope to see you next time.

With gratitude,

Maryam

TRAVELLING TO A NEW FRAGRANCE DESTINATION FOR MY LOVE OF GOOD SMELLS|| DOSSIER

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're all having a great day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you all for joining me.

Thank God for the internet. I can now travel with my eyes to new fragrance destinations. Lol... In today's blog, I will be sharing my new fragrance destination with you all.

I love good smells. Whenever I go to Macy's or any fragrance destination, I always like to sample their new fragrances. I love how different scents just transport my imagination to different beautiful destinations from a single whiff. It is quite amazing. The only thing is, they are expensive and sometimes I don't feel like spending a whole lot of money on a small bottle.

I believe there's a lot of people like that. They want luxury perfumes but can't afford to pay the price that go with them. Even if they eventually are able to get it, they have to sacrifice other needs for it. There's a solution for that. I am so happy to say www.dossier.co has a solution for the problem. Dossier makes quality perfumes which are inspired by famous designer fragrances, for a fraction of the price. Their perfumes are made from clean ingredients and cruelty free. Say you want Chanel Coco's Mademoiselle, you go to  www.dossier.co , you'll find Oriental Woody 1 which is inspired by Chanel Coco's Mademoiselle. The great part is, you pay ONLY $29 for a 50ml bottle. Amazing deal if you ask me. I actually happen to have Oriental Woody 1 and I love it!!! I feel like I smell heavenly when I'm wearing it 😊.

I am really loving my bottles and will be adding a few more to my collection of inspired fragrances from Dossier. I am so happy to share my discount code with you all. If you're inspired and would love to try one of Dossier's fragrances, use my code: Maryam10 for 10% off your order today.

I hope your day is filled with sweet smells and your imagination filled with beautiful pictures.

With gratitude,

Maryam

MY KIDS REACTION TO EATING ICE CREAM ON A CONE|| BASKIN ROBBIN

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're all having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy? Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for joining me.

I let my kids eat snacks. They love their gummies amd chips. However, I don't always buy chips but gummies are a MUST! Lol.. Ice cream though, I don't always give them. I don't eat ice cream all the time myself. I love ice cream but don't eat it all the time. A few days ago, I asked the kids if they wanted ice cream and they said yes. I set out to take them to Baskin Robbin!

So I took them to Baskin Robbin for the first time. Prior to leaving the house, I asked them what flavor they wanted and their answer was a unanimous chocolate! So we headed out for some ice cream.

My kids had never had ice cream on a cone before and I was curious as to how they were going to handle it. Le'Veon hates messy foods. Zoe doesn't care. If it's food and it's delicious, she likes messy... lol.

Well, I also knew that my car was going to be a mess after the ice cream and that didn't bother me because my car interior is leather and easy to clean. Moreover, I was more concerned about the fun than the mess. Lol.

When the kids got their ice cream and started eating it. I noticed that they were fascinated with how it looked and they took little bites off of it. Then the ice cream started to melt. Le'Veon didn't like the mess all over him and wanted to get rid of the ice cream. Zo'e on the order hand, loved it and didn't want me to take a bite in an attempt to fix it. Lol.

I explained to Le'Veon that the mess is ok because ice cream is meant to be messy and that he was going to get a shower when we got home. He ate it for a little while longer and handed the rest to me.

Zoe's was all over her clothes, hands and car seat and I was okay with it. After a little while, Zoe got tired because she had had enough and her ice cream wasn't finishing fast enough. When she got tired, she handed the rest of it to me.

Watch the video here:

It was really fun watching my sweet babies eat their ice cream. I enjoy fun times with my babies and seeing their reactions when they try something new. I enjoy being a mom and giving my kids the best of me. I believe it is the little things that make a world of difference. Little gestures and experiences compound to bigger and sweeter experiences. I am committed to living life to the fullest with my kids each day. Life is truly magical and sharing this magic is my goal each and every day.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

I am sending you a whole lotta sweet love and vibrations.

With gratitude,

Maryam

MOMMY CHALLENGES ARE REAL BUT THEY ARE PART OF THE GAME

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you are all having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life! Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for stopping by.

So, I am a mom of two amazing babies. I understand the struggles of sleepless nights when your little ones are not feeling well. I understand the constant thinking to make sure you remember your little ones' appointments and important events. I understand the constant second-guessing yourself in the hope of giving your best to your children always.

I also understand that all you can do is your best. You will mess up but messing up is part of the experience and  joy of being a mother. Don't beat yourself too hard about not being enough because you've always been more than enough. You have God helping you out every step of the way. Always pray for God's guidance and protection over you and your kids.

When I am tempted to feel down, I am constantly reminding myself to focus on God's love for me. His love is more than able to carry me through any difficulty. I know that I am limited but combining my limitations to God's Omnipresent Possibilities, creates magic in my life. So, I am going to constantly rely on God's power and presence. I want to encourage you to do the same. Never compare yourself to anyone. Never compare your children to anyone and never ever allow the enemy to make you feel like you are not good enough because Mama you ROCK!!

Thank you for reading my post to the end.

With love and gratitude,
Maryam

MEXICAN CHURROS|| MY REVIEW OF AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CHURROS

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're all having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you all for joining me.

This is the picture of my actual Churros😆

Today is about food the blog. I love food, as I have said many times before. Food is life to me. You eat to live and food helps you think. The right kind of food that is... Lol. Food can make you sleep too.

I enjoy food from different cultures around the world and I am on a food tasting program and muckbang for the next 6 weeks. Last week, I tried Korean food for the first time and this week, I don't know what I am going to be trying yet. When I do, I will film it and make a blog post about it.

So, about a week ago, I tried Mexican Churros for the first time. It was amazing! I couldn't put it down until I finished eating each stick.

My Chorros history: I had seen one of my very good friends; Tanya, eat it with her family a few times and thought it looked really delicious. I finally had my chance to try it.

That day, I wasn't even thinking about Churros at all. In fact, I stopped by Nam Dae Mun International Market for some amazing Korean food. While my sweet baby, Zozo and I were walking around the store, we came across a Mexican bakery within the store and I suddenly remembered Churros. It just came to my mind fro nowhere and I immediately walked up to the counter and asked one of the bakers if they made Churros and she said they did. I later came to find out there are different types of Churros. They had Vanilla and Caramel Churros. Of course I ordered one of each.

They were so yum. They were soft and buttery and delicious. I loved it so much that I ate the whole thing in less than 3 minutes.

If you are looking to try a new snack and you ain't scared of sugar, give Mexican Churros a try. You just might find your new favorite snack like I did.

Now I want to go back to Nam Dae Mun and get me some Churros.

Thank you for reading my blog today.

I hope you have an amazing day and week.

With gratitude,

Maryam

LEARNING TO NOT OVERWORK AND SHOWING MY NEW COLLECTION FROM FEMME LUXE

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're having a great day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day!

Life is beautiful when you have God in it. I can not imagine my life without God. My life would be over without God's grace and mercies. So, for this I am forever grateful to God.

The past few days, I have been really busy with work and creating new merchandise for my store. I rarely rested and that's not acceptable. I should know better and do better. Somehow, it's as though hard-work is what sustains me. But I know better. God is my provider and helper. It's almost as if there's a spirit in the air pushing me to keep overworking so I wouldn't have financial issues but I know better. I can't trust in my power because God is the One, who gives me power to make wealth. So, I have made up my mind to take a break and take care of myself and step out of the way for God to do what only He can do, sustain me. Overwork leads to resentment and unnecessary anger and I don't want any of that.

If you find yourself constantly striving and pushing without any rest, maybe this is your reminder to slow down. Don't push yourself to the point where what you love doing becomes a chore. That's also my reminder. I am so full of gratitude to have the opportunities that I have. God is to be praised for all of it.

One of the things I love to do is blog about my favorite things, food, clothes and places.

Today, I have a few pieces I received from Femme Luxe Refinery that I am excited to share with you.

Grey Off The Shoulder Loungewear set Imana https://femmeluxe.co.uk/grey-off-the-shoulder-loungewear-set-imana

This set is so beautiful and comfortable. I love it. The front is cropped but the back is full covering. How cool is that?!

Sage Mesh Overlay Long Sleeve Dress https://femmeluxe.co.uk/sage-mesh-overlay-long-sleeve-mini-dress-mensa

I love this dress. The style and texture. The only thing is... I ordered a size too small. This is a size 10 and that's my size on everything but this dress seems to run a little small. Make sure to order a  size bigger than what you'd normally wear.

Emerald Green Metallic Puff Sleeve Dresshttps://femmeluxe.co.uk/emerald-green-metallic-puff-sleeve-twist-front-mini-dress-emily

I love this dress. It's a size 10 and it fits perfectly. I like the shine to it and feel really sexy in it. This dress is true to size. Get it if you feel it calling your name.

Black Public Figure Slogan Tee https://femmeluxe.co.uk/black-public-figure-slogan-print-t-shirt-leah

This tee is so relevant right now, it's crazy. Lol! I thought it was right to get a tee that reminds me of my status as a "Public Figure." What?!!!! I forget all the time that I am someone of interest. Grateful to Femme Luxe for reminding me through this tee.

Thank you all so much for your support. Make sure you're subscribed to my mailing list. Thank you once again. I hope the links above each picture leads you to next outfit.

With gratitude,

Maryam

MY EXPERIENCE WITH KOREAN FOOD|| FOOD REVIEW

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for joining me today.

So, I love food and I love trying foods from different cultures. Although,  I haven’t had the opportunity to try many different cultural foods but for a few. I am always excited to try a new delicacy from a new culture.

A few days ago, I made up my mind that I would try Korean. I have a friend who has a multi cultural family. Her husband is Korean and she includes his culture to her family dynamic. I love watching their family dynamics on YouTube: YouTube.com/mazelee.
Their Korean food is so appealing. My friend has learned to cook Korean dishes too and I think it's amazing. Since I’m a foodie, I always wondered how it would be like to eat some Korean food. Would it taste like Chinese? I was curious and my taste buds were ready. Anyways, I finally did.

Coincidentally, I had scheduled to try different foods from different cultures for my food channel. My goal with this idea is to encourage people to try foods from different cultures.
Anyways, me and my sweet baby; Zozo went to Morrow, GA, to pickup our new modem from Xfinity. When we finished at the xfinity office, the thought came to me to pickup some Korean food and film it for my channel.

Well, I quickly googled Korean Restaurants near me and Google gave me a list. I picked the one with the best review and it led me Nam DAE Mun International Market, Morrow, GA. Within this market is a Korean restaurant called Eat More Korean.
I was so excited for this experience and wanted to share it with you. So we vlogged while we were there. Please watch shared video for our experience:

When we got to the register at the restaurant, I asked the cashier for the list of most ordered foods by newbies to Korean foods. Well, she gave me 3 items on the bestseller list and I went with Korean BBQ beef with rice and Korean Short Rib Soup and I had kimchi, sautéed curly flower and some rice as sides.
Our Muckbang Video

The food was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t stop eating.
One of my sweet friends has suggested I try the BBQ ribs next time. I will be going back for it soon.
I will be filming and taking pictures for the blog and my channels. So, be on the look out for it.

I loved the seasoning of the food and everything was amazing. I’m very happy. I can’t wait to try another food from a different culture.
What’s your favorite Korean food?
Please share. If you live in Atlanta, where is another Korean restaurant that I could try?
The lady at the front desk of Eat More Korean Restaurant, was very helpful to me and she is amazing at customer service. I give this restaurant a solid 5 STAR!!!

Thank you for reading my blog today.

With gratitude,
Maryam
