IT IS ABOUT TO BE THE NEW YEAR

 

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. I am so grateful to be posting a blog your way today. How are you?

I sincerely hope that all is well with you today. If things are not going the way you'd hoped, I agree with you today in the name of The Lord; Most High that everything turns around speedily by the grace of God in your favor. Get ready for your miracle. 

This year 2021 has been an maazing year for me. I am grateful for everything but most of all; I am grateful for the gift of life and peace each and everyday. I have lost the desire to be compulsive about things and people. By that I mean, the desire to force people to agree with me or force things to go my way. The years I did that, even if things went my way, the happiness didn't last. But now, as I surrender everything to God, it all works out with grace and perfectly. I have peace and I have joy every night.

God is soo good!

I encourage you to trust God more and live expecting good things to happen to you and all around you. As you do this, you will see more of the good and every unpleasnat experience will lose it's power over you.

MY CHRISTMAS RECAP AND STORY

 

Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. I hope this blog meets you well. It is always a blessing to share a post with you on this blog. I hope you had a blissful, joyful and an amazing Christmas celebration with your family.

I sure did have a one of a kind Christmas and Birthday celebration this year. I am talking about how I felt and the whole atmosphere. I found myself counting my blessings most of the time. This Christmas got me thinking about how far I have come and how good my God is. 

I remember one Christmas a few years back, I was pregnant with my first child and was staying at a friend's house while she was away. Things didn't turn out right and we were kicked out in the rain. That was not a good experience but it taught me one thing; there's nothing like having your own house. 

Being in this position of having my own space and the prosperity to maintain and keep rising, makes my life so beautiful and I have God to thank for that. 

During the holidays, I always go over the top, I mean I cook everything and all things I could cook. Then I end up throwing out a whole lot of food later. I don't like throwing away food. Well, to make a change this year, I decided to do something different this time. I made fufu and egusi soup for Christmas this year. Yasss! Check out my instagram for the reels. Although I still baked cookies with my baby girl; sweet Zozo this year, as I have always done, all the other extras such as ham, turkey, rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy I skipped on purpose this year. It felt great to just enjoy the holiday without the guilt of all the waste of leftovers. I rested like I have not rested in a while and it felt great too! I refused to allow myself feel guilty for not repeating the tradition of cooking all things and everything and I felt great!

The kids had a great time too. Our time during the Christmas celebration was peaceful, joyful and amazing. Everyone was healthy and merry and that was more than I could ask for. We even made a gingerbread house :). See that video on https://www.instagram.com/maryamsjoyfullifeblog/

I believe enjoying every moment with family during the holidays and counting your blessings instead of comparing your life to other people's is a healthy way to spend the holiday season. Because when we count our blessings, we draw more blessings into our lives. 

I have so much to be grateful for this holiday and my peace of mind is top of the list.

WHEN HE SAID HE DIDN'T WANT ME ANYMORE

 

Good morning everyone. Thank you for checking out my blog today. It is indeed a good day. I am grateful for the blessing of life. 

I don't know what you may currenlty be experiencing but I understand how hard life can get when all you think you know comes crashing down on you. This is what I want to talk about today.

Early 2020 my life came to a nosedive and it was designed to kill me but I'm still here. Perhaps some of you reading this were amongst those who expected me to crash but hey, I am flying and soaring. LOL!

The reason why I didn't die is because of God. I trust in God and believe in grace. The grace of God is always sufficient for me no matter what the situation. When the devil came at me and expected me to crash, I exptected myself to rise above it. I knew the enemy didn't and will never stand a chance against me. I am surrounded and I know it very well.

You too can be victorious and successful. It doesn't matter what is thrown your way, You have omnipresent help with you. You just need to declare and begin to see a victory before it can manifest.

I  am believing for greater things for you in this season. I believe you will see God do amazing things for you and come through like you've never imagined before. You just stay hopeful and trust even if you don't see a way that God is the way!

I love you and I am excited to see you victorious.

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING JUDGEMENTS

 Good morning, wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. I hope this meets you well. It is always a joy to post a blog. I want to share something important with you all.

How often do we make conclusions before we even see the whole picture. It's crazy how we get easily deceived by our perception of things before we see the whole picture. This happens all the time on social media, where we get so carried away by the highlight reels that we make our conclusions before we see the whole picture or read the post. 

I made a post a couple of days ago with my friend Rashad from https://www.youtube.com/c/ShawdGawdTV. Make sure to subscribe to his channel. I know that videos like the one we made are often about romantic relationships but we made a twist to it. A fried of mine said congrats to me and I laughed so hard because I knew she didn't read the post that came after the picture I had shared. I like seeing this type of reaction from people because it lets me see how easily swayed we are. 

I am now challenging myself to read before I leap because I don't want to be an idiot. Lol!
